NOTES: Red Sox OF Jacoby Ellsbury began the next stage of his rehab assignment last night with the PawSox. Ellsbury wen 0 for 4 with a strikeout. Ellsbury has been sidelined since early April with a separated shoulder.
Buchholz will make the start this afternoon after being sidelined since June 19 after suffering from esophagitis — a condition that led to intestinal bleeding and an extended hospital stay.
