NOTES- As mentioned above Daisuke Matsuzaka made a rehab start for the PawSox last night, giving up no runs on four hits in 2 1/3 innings. He walked one and struck out three.
The PawSox also reinstated P Nelson Figueroa off the inactive list and sent C Matt Spring back to Portland. Figueroa followed Matsuzaka into the game last night and took the loss.
