Game 24, Clippers 3, PawSox 2

The Pawtucket Red Sox continue in a funk, losing its fourth in a row yesterday, 3-2 to the Columbus Clippers in Ohio.

    On the heels of their nine game wining streak, the PawSox have now lost two in a row, falling 4-1 to the Columbus Clippers last night in Ohio.

    The PawSox were three outs away from winning their franchise record tenth game in a row yesterday afternoon at McCoy.  But a four run ninth led the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees to a 8-6 win.

  • PawSox Post Game- Alex Wilson

    The PawSox announced today that pitcher Alex Wilson would be replaced as tonight’s starter and begin working out of the bullpen.  He made his first relief appearance as a professional tonight in the seventh inning, giving up two hits and a run.  Speculation is that the Red Sox may be grooming Wilson to be a reliever to help out the Major League club sometime this year.
