Bisons Shutout PawSox 3-0
For the second straight night the Pawtucket Red Sox fell victim to a strong pitching performance, falling to the Buffalo Bisons 3-0 last night at Coca-Cola Field.
Ken Takahashi, Adam Pettyjohn (2-6), and Adam Bostick limited the PawSox to only six hits. Jeff Natale collected two hits for Pawtucket.
PawSox starter Enrique Gonzalez (7-9) came through with a solid start, giving up three runs on five hits over 6 1/3 innings. He walked two and struck out one.
SS Argenis Reyes drove in two runs for the Bisons.
The two teams wrap-up their series this afternoon (1:05pm). Michael Bowden (3-5, 3.09 ERA) goes for the PawSox. He’ll be opposed by Lance Broadway (3-6, 5.51 ERA) for the Bisons.
