RF Ben Francisco went 3 for 4, including a two run homer, in the Bisons‘ 5-2 victory over the Scranton Wilkes/Barre Yankees. RF Jason Cooper also had 3 hits, two of which were doubles. BOX
RF Randy Joyce also went 3 for 4 and drove in 4 runs as the Toledo Mud Hens swept the Indianapolis Indians 6-5. BOX
It took 17 innings to settle things in Louisville last night. The Columbus Clippers scored three times in the top pf the inning to escape with a 5-2 victory. BOX
The Richmond Braves scored five runs over the last two innings to overtake the Durham Bulls, 6-3. Rays star lefty Scott Kazmir, on a rehab assignment with the Bulls, threw five innings, giving up one run on three hits. BOX
The Norfolk Tides scored seven runs in the fifth inning in their 10-5 rout of the Charlotte Knights. BOX
