It was a busy Sunday across the International League. Here’s what happened..

SS Paul Janish had a monster day for the Louisville Bats, going 4 for 4, including a grand slam and 6 RBI’s as the Bats pounded the Columbus Clippers 13-4. Jay Bruce also homered and drove in three for Louisville. BOX

The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs drop to 3-21, falling to the Rochester Red Wings, 5-1. Rochester got back-to-back homers from 3B Chris Basak and C Eli Whiteside to break open a 1-1 tie in the seventh. BOX

Five Mud Hens collected two hits apiece as Toledo defeated Indianapolis at home, 7-1. BOX

DH Hector Giminez went 3 for 4 and drove in four runs in the Durham Bulls’ 11-4 win over the Charlotte Knights. BOX

The Norfolk Tides took a pair from the Richmond Braves, winning the delayed game from Saturday 5-3, then the regularly scheduled affair 8-4. GAME ONE BOX GAME TWO BOX

It was a pair of pitchers’ duels in Syracuse as the Chiefs and Yankees split a double header. Scranton Wilkes/Barre took game one 2-1 with Syracuse winning the night cap 2-0. GAME ONE BOX GAME TWO BOX
